Brett Stone Featured on the Uncut & Real Raw Podcast

0513_01

When Brett Stone rode Boomernic to the 1992 National Reining Horse Association Open Futurity championship, he brought with him a major change to the sport. Brett joins Clinton to talk about that once-in-a-lifetime moment and how it ultimately shaped today’s reining horses.

Born and raised in Arizona, Brett didn’t get actively involved with horses until his teenage years. He started riding with the great Al Dunning and explains how he went on to establish his career, his experiences learning from some of the best horses and horsemen in the industry, and how he built the iconic Stone Ranch.

The conversation is in depth and cuts deep as Brett shares how at the height of his career he lost everything to addiction and the path he took to redemption, finding the love of his life and how the support of true friends led him to his integral role at Silver Spurs Equine.
